I love Mondays

Mondays are Daniel's day off.  Typically, it's a day to rest for us.
Siah loves it cause Daddy is home all day to play.
And play they do!
This week's adventure was using foam squares someone gave us to make forts, tunnels, and trains.

Mama! Check out what Daddy made!

You go through this way...
And pop out the other side!!

He called this one his train.  Not sure why.

The best was when the tunnel went from one bedroom to another.

The Master Builder.

The Master Crawler

Daddy, can we keep this forever?
Not a chance, Son. Mama won't let us.

how does this happen....

I am constantly amazed at how fast this girl grows. I tried this outfit on her not long ago, and it was sooo baggy. Not anymore...

He always needs to be photographed when I have the camera out.

God's gift

When I see this little girl smile, I know that we were not made for this world only.
She is God's gift to our family. He knew we needed her right now.
He is amazing.

Just couldn't choose

En Liang sent this dress to Aliyah.  I was attempting to get a picture of Ali in it, and these are my results.  Couldn't just choose one to post here, so bear with the grins and cheeky looks on our little 娃娃。(Wa Wa = baby doll)

Siah shares

When the kids get quiet, it's time to check to see what they are up to.
This is what I found today.

K, now I'm gonna get my toy basket.
Stay right there.  I'll be back.

Uhhh, brother?

Oh, hi, Mama. We were just playing.

A dress from Aunt Echo

A sweet package came to us all the way from Germany!
Aunt Echo sent her love to Aliyah.
Beautiful dress

Hugs

We've often heard the Taiwanese use 'hug' when they mean 'hold'.
Apparently, Siah's picked up on it too because when he asks to hug Aliyah, he means he wants to hold her.
Which he asks for often.

Don't worry, Mama.  I got her.

See, Ali? Don't worry about anything.
Oh, Mama's got the camera!

That's a nice little smile.

I bet I can make it bigger!! Tickle, tickle....

Hmmm, not the results I intended....

Usurper Sleeper

I hereby claim this territory!

To lay claim I shall sleep.

Don't be fooled by my smile. I slumber on!

I care not that I hardly fit.  The tiny one shall know who is Boss!

Have I made my point? Can I get up?

A happy smile

Aliyah gave us her first smile on her one month birthday.
Trying to get it on film is another matter.

One early morning...

Oh, man! Check out this mess! Fresh ground coffee all over!

What's Mama gonna say when she sees her floor?!

Think fast.....

Mama!!!! Come see what Daddy did to your clean floor!!!
