First Wedding

A good friend of ours invited us to join the celebration of his sister's engagement.  It was our first traditional Taiwanese celebration of this kind.  What a lot of food!  So fun.  We loved experiencing it all. Plus, it was Aliyah's first real outing...

Many things become great adventures.

Like finding a bed for Aliyah that fits in our tiny apartment.

So, we stuck the mattress from the crib on the entertainment shelf.  

It works until she starts rolling over.

Happy Father's Day

Taiwan celebrates Father's Day in August. Daniel got to celebrate it this year with kids!

Life in the new world

We came home from the hospital in the midst of a typhoon.  That'll be a story to tell Aliyah someday.  It's great to be home, great to be alive, and great to have Aliyah as part of our family.  Siah is adjusting well, and doesn't seem to mind too much that he has a new sister.  Cool things happen now that she's here.

Siah meets Mei Mei

Josiah came up to meet his new sister yesterday morning.  

It was love at first sight.
